Boy who killed burglar tells of fight for justice

The student Omari Roberts, 21 years old tells about what happened after he stabbed a 14-year old burglar to death. On Friday, March 13 last year Omari went to his 47-year-old mother Jacqueline in Basford, Nottingham, to have lunch. When he arrived, he saw that the glass was broken from the backdoor and was shocked. He went in the house and bumped into a 14-year old boy and fought with each other. The boy ran off, but there was another boy who got stabbed by Omari during their confrontation. Omari called the police, but he thought that they were going to help him, but they arrested him on suspicion of murder. After some trials he got free after the CPS DROPPED the charges for that Omari acted because of self-defense. But Omari says that the laws need to be changed.

I would have done the same as Omari, not try to kill the burglar but cut his finger off or something and wait for the police. The thing is that I will be the guilty one according to the laws. It does not make sense, the burglar comes in my house and I am not allowed to defense myself. Okay I can call the police but that would take to much time and the burglar would left with all my stuff. What would you do?

Hundreds strip naked in Salford in the name of art

‘Everyday People’ is the name of the new art project by the American photographer artist, Spencer Tunick. The project focuses on ordinary men and women. 4.000 people stripped naked in the name of love in Peel Park, Salford. The butt naked men and woman, young and old were been given instructions by Spencer Tunick like: turn around, walk and freeze etc.
After the event Spencer Tunick said: "I think it went really well. I think we got it. I think the people here in Salford had the intention to make art. This project is Spencer Tunick fourth project.

Butt naked for art? Why would someone do that, getting naked for art. I think that the volunteers who participated, think that they are now intellectual or people who know what art is. I think the volunteers had other intentions. Would you strip naked for art or do something else for art.

Peter Harvey dumbbell attack: CCTV shows students fleeing enraged teacher

Peter Harvey dumbbell attack: CCTV shows students fleeing enraged teacher

Peter Harvey, a science teacher at ‘All Saints Roman Catholic school in Mansfield’ fractured a students skull with a dumbbell (3kg), after being taunted during class by his pupils. The event was caught on tape by the surveillance camera. The victim who is been known as a troublemaker in the whole school, told him to "fuck off". After this Peter Harvey went crazy and he said to the boy "I'll teach you to fuck off," and took him into a storeroom, where he picked up a dumbbell and hit him twice about the head, shouting: "Die, die, die.". Peter Harvey had some mental health problems for a long time and could not take it any more is what his lawyer says. Peter Harvey is been prosecuted of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent by Nottingham crown court.

It is actually a very serious event and a point to discuss about. After reading the article and watching the video, I was literally shocked about the idea of using a dumbbell against a student and was thinking like: are our brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces safe in a safe environment like a school and the teachers? I am not saying that every teacher should undergo a test for mental health etc. What would you do when you get taunted by this kind of students?
